Guide to onboarding with Spark

Getting started with Spark

Welcome to Spark! Whether you're a startup or an enterprise, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get up and running.

Step 1: Create your project

After signing up, create your first project. A project is the top-level container for all your feature flags, experiments, and analytics.

Step 2: Install the SDK

Choose the SDK for your platform. We support all major frameworks and languages:

  • JavaScript/TypeScript
  • React / React Native
  • Python
  • Ruby
  • Go
  • Java
  • Swift / Kotlin

Step 3: Create your first feature flag

Feature flags are the foundation of everything in Spark. Start with a simple boolean flag to get familiar with the workflow.

Step 4: Run your first experiment

Once you're comfortable with feature flags, set up your first A/B test. Our wizard will guide you through selecting metrics and configuring your experiment.

Best practices

  • Start small — one feature flag, one experiment
  • Define your metrics before starting experiments
  • Use targeting rules to gradually roll out features
  • Review experiment results with your full team
